When Sharise is not busy petitioning, calling congress, and raising hell in other ways, she keeps

busy with her first love which is performing. She has worked on stage, in Independent as well as in

Major Studio films.

Restrained No More is her way of keeping sane in a very one-sided town.

Not one to give a damn about toeing the line, Sharise decided to "come out of the

closet" and produce her political satire. Though her views aren't welcomed by many,

she says," I would rather lose work than lose my mind" and so Restrained No More is

the place where her love of acting and her passion for politics, collide. When asked

why the choice of humor, she says, "When faced with trying times, one can turn to

insanity or to humor... I decided to try humor this time. And humor is a better tool

than beating our chests. It's when we are too uptight that we turn people away that might otherwise listen to a        message."

Sharise is also a busy producer, wife, mother, and advocate for healthy living. She has acquired a new film company, Fantasy Films LLC and is in pre-production on several larger projects. She looks forward to the day when "conservative" isn't a dirty word, but until then, she will just keep dusting herself off.

Since the creation of Restrained No More in October, 2008, Sharise has been interviewed and featured on many conservative sites, and even a few liberal ones!
